Free with any commercial web site on our servers:  One or more listings at http://the.Palouse.net.  When you’re starting a business or first putting it on the Web, it really, really helps to have links to it in popular, long-standing sites like ours.  The.Palouse.net has been on-line for over ten years and receives around 20,000 page views per month, nearly all from local people interested in local businesses.

Free with dial-up, high-speed or commercial web sites:  One or more email addresses.  For a business (or even a family), what’s cooler than having your own email address at your own domain name?   We can register the domain for you ($19.95/year).  Check out your favorite names at http://whois.Tucows.com.

Free with dial-up or high-speed Internet:  personal webspace.  If you’d like a place to store photos or a family newsletter, this is it.

Free with commercial web sites:  Banner ads on the TurboNet.com web pages.  These pages are viewed about 500,000 times per month (page views) which makes a free clickable banner a very, very good deal.

Free to Everyone in the Area

We designed and host www.PalouseAds.com, a very active (about 1400 ads at any given time, and over ten times that many viewers per month), web site for local free classified ads.  This program is always a work in progress, of course, but current features include:

            a.  Free photos of your items, with in-column thumbnails

            b.  Hidden email addresses, so advertisers won’t be hit with ad-spam

            c.  Search the ads on one or more key words

            d.  Edit your ads, save them and renew them without re-typing

            e.  (Coming some time in May or June) Commercial advertising for a fee

            f.  (Also coming in May or June) Fee-based ad enhancements such as background colors, boldface and preferred placement..  Generic personal ads will always be free.

Free on-line movie listings for local theaters.  The theaters send us their listings and we combine them, add links to descriptions of each movie, and post them at www.TurboNet.com.
